The Quinta Project is located on a farm inside the São Mamede Natural Park. Our focus is on queer* community and nature connection.

The farm has three buildings. The main building is a large farmhouse that is partially completed and in the process of being restored and renovated. It has a kitchen, showers, toilets, shared space for eating and some space for sleeping.

We have very basic accommodation for community villagers and visitors. At the moment we have one double bedroom and several mattresses in shared accommodation available. These are on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also a lot of space for camping. If this is your first visit to the Quinta Project, then your stay is limited to a maximum of 7 days.

We are open all year round. In winter, a fireplace is available only in the common room. There is no air-conditioning or other heating at the farm.

Here is a list of useful/required items to bring:

• Shoes that are suitable for muddy, stony and dusty terrain.
• Clothes that can get dirty/become torn
• Sleeping bag when it is cold
• Towels
• Organic soap/shampoo
